THE KINGDOM AT A SPECIAL TIME OF PEACE
Since David was called to be a man of war by God, he could not also be
the King who would build the Holy Temple to replace the Holy Tabernacle.
The wisest man, King Solomon, a good King like his father King David,
with God’s permission erects the Holy Temple to worship God.
God grants the Kingdom 40 years of peace during which time King Solomon
builds the Holy Temple. The temple was later destroyed by enemy nations and
rebuilt less glorious, only to be torn down again shortly after the time of Christ.
The 5th Era The Kingdom at a special time of Peace
1st Kings Ch's 1-11:
1st Chapter David is making provision to make Solomon king. Ch 1 :31 Bathsheba asks of King David that their Solomon be made king after David his father 1:32 David calls for Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada ...1:39 Zadok the priest anoints Solomon King Ch 2 David dies and Solomon becomes King. ... to Ch 11 Solomon's death
2nd Chronicles 1-9
Ch's 1 - 9 Solomon's Kingdom is established and he ask God for wisdom to rule. He is given more wisdom than any man who ever lived. He builds the Temple of the Lord with the supplies his father David collected. The permanent Temple replaces the mobile Tabernacle Moses built. Ch 9 Solomon's death
